Member Qualifications

The Membership Committee has developed the following list of qualifications for joining our church. As part of the membership process you will be required to demonstrate that you meet each of these qualifications.

Membership qualifications

  • Be of good moral character as testified by at least 3 references
  • Make a personal statement of faith showing alignment with the church’s Statement of Faith
  • Commit to a baptism by fire to show your committment to Pele.
  • Be in a financial position to commit to tithing 15% of your income each year after your first year of membership.
  • Be willing and able to worship at a volcanic eruption each year, in person or virtually.
  • Accept that Jesus is the Son of God and that Pele is his half-sister and Daughter of God.
